Excerpt from Scene 3, Dr. Faustus by Christopher Marlowe

That was a scene between Dr Faustus (a scholar with an ambition for knowledge, wealth and world) and a devil.
Reading Dr Faustus has got me thinking, eternal death means separation from God who loves us and nothing is more unbearable than that separation. How foolish to love the things of the earth and God is so worthy of our love. In fact, there’s nothing more we could offer to Him.

To God who sent His only Son to die on the cross for all our lawlessness, our wrongdoings, our wrong choices, our imperfections, our weakness, our fallen nature, our sins. Because Jesus died on the cross, I can now come to God and become a child of God. Nothing beats the love of God….
